Sew Your Own Easy Denim Jeans: Ultimate Trousers (Sew Over It)

Eeeek I made Jeans! Sure they aren't the 'real' fly zip and belt loops version, but they are my favourite pair of pants yet - and super comfy to wear.

I always have problems finding jeans that fit in the store, they always have a waist that is way to big and legs that are way to skinny for me.. so being able to make my own is amazing! The fabric is from The Fabric Store - which I got on sale for $12 (I think?) a metre and a nice mid weight stretch denim.

These were really easy to make and as per my first version of ultimate pants and the second pair .. they have a crotch adjustment, and pockets added (similar to Moji) and a doubly wide waistband. You can see more info on how I did these adjustments if you click through to previous posts.

The Ultimate Trousers sewing pattern by SewOverIt has been one of my favourite so far - and I know there will be more versions yet. I'd like to try a 'proper' jeans pattern next like the Ginger Skinny Jeans by  Closet Case Files, or even the Moss Skirt by Grainline Studios, since it has a fly zip too!

Would love to see any versions you might have too.. feel free to post in my comments so I can check them out! :)

See ya around!
